Pack Dues for 2016 - 2017
Cub Scout Pack 85
This Pack spends, on average a little over $200 per Scout who is enrolled.
Some of the items that we purchase throughout the year:
BSA Registration Fee - $25.00 (from January to January) for new Scouts we also pay a prorated fee from September to January.
BSA Registration Fee for our leaders - $25.00 (same dates and prorated fee as above)
BSA Insurance - $1.00 per Scout
Boy’s Life - $12.00 (from January to January)
Neckerchief & Slide for each returning Scout - $10.00
Materials for the den $20.00 per scout (advancement charts, flags, belt loop and pin books, etc.)
Awards for the boys throughout the year - $15.00
Earned belt loops or pins for each Scout - $15.00
Monthly pack meeting activities and crafts - $25.00
Siblings are included in Pack meetings and can also participate in activities & crafts
Blue and Gold Banquet - $15.00 (parents, siblings & guests pay a fee)
Pinewood Derby Car - $4.00
Pinewood Derby lunch/trophies for Scouts - $10.00
(2) Family Camp’s - $15.00 each (Scouts are free, adults and siblings pay a small fee) Siblings can also participate in camp activities.
Registration is $70 per Scout – due by October Pack Meeting or arrangements for a payment plan / financial assistance made. Families with more than one boy in Scouts can defer payment one month.
Popcorn Fundraiser~ Pack 85 operates mainly on proceeds from the yearly BSA popcorn fundraiser.
Popcorn requirement for each Scout is to to sell a $300 minimum ($30 of which goes into your Scouts individual account). More information to follow at the September Pack meeting.
